Early-Game Capybara Onsen Tiers
The first hour is a deposit test, not a shopping test.
Early game in Capybara Onsen is the time between your first Capybara and your first higher-tier merge. It is short if you deposit. It is long if you decorate. This page ranks that hour only. Later sessions use merge priority.

S-tier early actions
Buy one Capybara. Watch Yuzu drop. Deposit the fruit. Those three actions prove the loop works on your device. If any of them fail, stop ranking and fix controls or reread how to get Yuzu.
Opening the first Lucky Box, if one appears this early, is also S-tier. A free second Capybara can be your first merge partner.
A-tier early actions
Buy a second Capybara after the first deposit. Merge those two if they match and both have paid you. That merge is the official unlock path. Details sit on how to merge.
Like and favorite the experience. Dojo Empire asked for those clicks. They do not raise Yuzu, but they raise the chance of the next shutdown being a real patch. Note the date on latest updates.
B-tier early actions
A third shop buy is fine if no merge is ready and Yuzu is clean. Walking the Onsen for a hidden box is fine. Opening the codes hub once is fine — then close it. An empty table should not eat the hour.
C-tier early actions
Expanding the Onsen before a merge. Buying a decoration. Chasing another player’s layout. Rejoining to “reset luck.” None of these deposit fruit.
D-tier early actions
Spending Robux before you understand deposits. Pasting a script. Entering a code from another capybara game. Those are how new accounts feel broken. Scripts, if any become real, live on the scripts hub with warnings.
A sample first-hour build
- Buy Capybara A.
- Deposit the first Yuzu pile.
- Buy Capybara B if Money remains.
- Open a Lucky Box if it appears.
- Merge A and B if they match.
- Deposit again.
- Stop shopping.
That build is boring and it works. The collection checklist can tick each line.
Early-game Money sinks to ignore
Gamepasses, if the store shows any, are not part of the first-hour rank. You can finish a merge without them. Cosmetics do not drop Yuzu. A private server is unnecessary on a six-player cap unless the instance is unplayable. Spend attention before you spend Robux.
If a popup offers a starter bundle, read whether it is Robux. Free claims are fine. Paid claims can wait until you know what a deposit feels like.
When early game ends
Early game ends when you have one higher-tier Capybara and a habit of depositing before you shop. It does not end when the Onsen looks pretty. If you still skip deposits, you are still early, even if you own a wide bath. Read how to expand only after that habit sticks.
Return to the tier list hub when you want the compact table. Move to merge priority when shop prices start to hurt and boxes matter more than the second buy.
The early ranks exist because the first hour teaches the rest of the wiki. If you learn to bank Yuzu here, every later page is easier. A first hour that only shops is a first hour you will repeat tomorrow.
Frequently Asked Questions

What should I buy first in Capybara Onsen?
One Capybara. Deposit its Yuzu before you buy a second unit or expand the Onsen.

It is C-tier. Expand after a merge or a Lucky Box forces the issue.
When does the early game end?
After your first higher-tier merge and after depositing becomes automatic.
